Dimple is responsible for filing and prosecuting to grant our hundreds of patent applications in various countries around the world including in the US, Europe, India, China, Australia, Japan and Korea. Oneirix Labs files and prosecutes many patents each year; most of which are owned by or licensed to our various clients. Our vigorous intellectual property process, where inventors work in close coördination with patent attorneys to get strong, defensible patents granted is led by Dimple, herself both a patent attorney and an inventor.
Dimple graduated with an MS in Computer Science from the University of Texas, Dallas in 2003. She did her degree in law (LLB) from the ILS Law College, Pune. She also holds an MBA and is a registered patent agent. After stints in academia and research institutes, Dimple joined Oneirix Labs in 2008 and has been with us for more than a decade.
Apart from heading our Intellectual Property cell, her degrees in law and business make her a perfect leader to handle business operations including contracts and customer relations. Being in a technology-first company, Dimple does not forget her engineering roots, often participating in and occasionally even leading our software-oriented projects.
